Documentary proposal:
Within my documentary, I will include information on the popular high-end brands within the fashion industry today. I’ll do this by exploring the brands histories and the styles they have created over the years and the outcome it has had on our adolescent generation today. It will also feature interviews with the both teens wearing these brands regularly today as part of their image and personal style and those who had similar influences in the past.
I will research trends which have sparked inspiration for the young people of our generation. who are their influences?, what brands do they follow? And how do models have an impact on body image? Do they compare themselves to the people they see on social media and in magazines.The style of documentary I will be using to influence my filming is the mixed technique,including interviews,narrations and observational footage throughout. My documentary will be targeted mainly at teenagers who are finding themselves and experimenting with style and what it means to them i want it to spark questions for them,what does fashion mean to them if anything?,whats unique about them and how could their image and the shoes/clothes they wear be used as a platform to portray these individual and very personal qualities that they embody. Also this age group,my age group, are young and influential so are the people who would be impacted most by the subjects I cover during my documentary,encouraging them to take something from it and hopefully start to be or continue being themselves and wearing what makes them confident.

Brainstorming ideas for our advert was really productive as we discussed ideas and settled on a synopsis as a group and started to think about the pre production process and who would take on what roles within the group.Nobody was very enthusiastic about stepping forward to be the face of our re branding so to make it fair we chose names at random and Erin was the chosen actress,leaving me and Natalie to take control of the technical side of production.Personally i felt the most confident in control of the camera therefore shot all the footage for our advert, whilst Natalie referred to the shot lists and plans we had made prier to the filming schedule. Only one talent release had to be completed for Erin and the location recce was simple as we only filmed in her bedroom and bathroom. depict film-production schedule, props and costume

Prop/costume We will not be using any fancy costumes for our short film. We will be wearing regular clothes for the film. As we are filming in college and the character is a regular college person, hence why we are using clothes that are not fancy. The main character has been told to wear plain clothes to give a depressed atmosphere. We will be using a few props for some scenes. We will be using school bags to replicate a school or college environment. There will also be make up and lipstick for some scenes that will link in with the story. The locations we are filming at will be the corridor near the coffee shop in college and the toilets that is in the same location.
